NCI-FM to Broadcast 15 MJHL Games

September 27, 2012 7:20 AM | Sports

Fans of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League will be able to listen to games on NCI-FM again this season.

The Winnipeg radio station will present 15 games when the regular season begins on October 5, marking a third year the station has partnered with the MJHL.

Broadcaster Curt Keilback, long known as the voice of the Winnipeg Jets, returns to the microphone for his third season as the play-by-play voice, with fellow broadcaster Scott Taylor joining him.

“We believe that this is a perfect partnership between Manitoba’s only provincial wide radio network reaching more than 140,000 daily listeners and the love affair with the MJHL that Manitoba’s hockey communities share,” said NCI program director Gerry Barrett. “We’re proud to bring the MJHL to every corner of Manitoba.”
