The Manitoba Bisons football team is on the road Friday to meet the Saskatchewan Huskies following their bye week.
The No. 8-ranked Herd will go into Griffiths Stadium with a 3-2 record this season, while the Huskies sit in fourth at 2-3.
The last time Manitoba played at Saskatchewan, the team suffered the worst defeat in team history by losing 64-3 on October 1, 2010. Manitoba has rebounded to win the next two meetings since 2010 and overall during coach Brian Dobie’s 17-year tenure. The Bisons hold a 5-4 conference regular season record versus the Huskies on the road and overall have a 12-11 regular season record over last 17 seasons.
Kickoff is at 8 p.m. CT and can be heard on UMFM 101.5 with the pre-game show at 7:45 p.m. CT.
The Bisons return home the following week for their last game of the season at University Stadium on Saturday, October 20 (U of M campus, 1 p.m.)
