The International Wine Festival of Manitoba returns to The Forks this weekend to celebrate its 21st anniversary.
From Friday through Sunday, wines from across the globe will be featured and are guaranteed to satisfy any palate.
“A lot has changed in the world over the last twenty years, but one thing that remains the same is our appreciation for enjoying delicious wines with great people. We are proud to be celebrating this benchmark anniversary,” said Mo Razik, owner of Fenton’s Wine Merchants and organizer of the festival since its inception.
Promotional offers will be available during the three-day festival on The Forks’ Twitter and Facebook pages.
Admission to the festival is free and wine tasting tickets are $0.50 each. Net proceeds will be donated to Winnipeg Harvest.
The festival runs from 5-9 p.m. tonight and noon to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
