Scheduled sewer repairs will make for some traffic re-routes this weekend.
Beginning at noon today, two lanes of westbound traffic will be closed on Portage Avenue from Canora Street to Simcoe Street. The closure will last until 10 p.m.
On Sunday at 6 a.m., crews will have the westbound lane of Selkirk Avenue from Salter Street to Powers Street closed until 8 p.m.
The road closures will allow for the installation of a liner in the sewer pipes, which will restore the aging sewers at these locations.
