‘Bug Day’ to Educate on Infectious Diseases, Public Health

Manitoba’s largest healthcare education event will run today at the University of Manitoba’s downtown Bannatyne campus.

Hosted by HSC Winnipeg, Bug Day is a full day of presentations and discussion on timely topics in infectious diseases, public health and infection prevention and control.

Experts from local, national and international levels will discuss prevention and control of communicable diseases, as well as health issues in the community and healthcare setting.

The 16th annual Bug Day runs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Basic Medical Sciences Building Theatres. A complete schedule is available on HSC.mb.ca (PDF).
