The Winnipeg Art Gallery has put out the call for nominations for the Centennial Recognition Awards.
The awards will recognize outstanding dedication and contribution to the growth and development of the Winnipeg Art Gallery, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
“The WAG has always been about people,” said executive director Stephen Borys. “Those whose volunteerism makes possible so many of our events such as the Gallery Ball, Art and Soul, or Nuit Blanche and whose work on the board of governors provides leadership and guidance. These are the people and groups we want to honour with our Centennial Recognition Awards.”
The deadline for nominations is 4 p.m. CT on February 22, 2013 at WAG100.ca.
