CFB Shilo will cut the ribbon on a brand new daycare centre today.
The 28 new daycare spaces have been added to the Shilo Community Centre. The expanded area includes a playground and incorporates as many natural elements as possible.
Three employees of the daycare centre were recently awarded a Certificate of Achievement for the 2012 Prime Minister’s Awards for excellence in early childhood educations.
The facility will officially open at 2 p.m.
