Kildonan Place Shopping Centre will once again be a hub of activity today for its Fashion Takeover event.

Twenty-five undiscovered models from across Manitoba will walk the catwalk beginning at noon. World-renowned model scouts will be in attendance to judge the talent.

“How did we know this is a major fashion event? We had to adjust the date so as not to conflict with Paris fashion week,” said KP marketing director Corey Quintaine.

The show will also feature over 15 professional models and stylists from Swish Model Management.

Winnipegger Meaghan Waller, who won “Canada’s Next Top Model” in 2009, will be one of the professionals representing Sutherland Models at the judges table.

Mall-wide fashion shows will also take place at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., with the introduction of the search finalists and judging at 3 p.m.
