City Upgrading Traffic Circles Along Grosvenor

October 22, 2012 8:00 AM | News

The city will begin upgrades to traffic calming circles along Grosvenor Avenue this week.

Work includes extending curbs on each exit of the circles on Grosvenor, and painting pedestrian crossing line markings on Grosvenor, Warsaw Avenue and Roch Street.

“These additional curb extensions are intended to make the pedestrian crossing area more prominent and improve the interaction of pedestrians, motorists and cyclists at these intersections,” said Luis Escobar, the city’s manager of transportation.

Pedestrian crossing lines will be painted on all other traffic calming circles throughout the city next spring.
