A public forum tonight will discuss tuberculosis, which experts say is on the rise in Manitoba and Nunavut.
The University of Manitoba and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) will talk about all aspects of TB during CIHR Café Scientific. The informal gathering will see research experts exchange ideas with each other and the public in a relaxed atmosphere.
Dr. Brenda Elias, assistant professor of Community Health Sciences at the U of M, will moderate the evening and be joined by Dr. Anne Fanning and Dr. Pamela Orr.
The forum will begin at 7 p.m. at McNally Robinson Booksellers, 1120 Grant Avenue.
