Community News Commons is beginning to offer workshops for citizens looking to get into journalism.
CNC is hosting the free workshops on writing, photography, videography and other aspects of creating online digital media every Tuesday and Thursday night.
The first session was held yesterday at the Winnipeg Free Press Café, where Tuesday’s sessions will normally take place. Thursday evenings will be held at the Carol Shields Auditorium in the Millennium Library.
Each workshop will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
