A Winnipeg marketing agency officially moved into its new offices in a downtown heritage building on Wednesday.

Metric Marketing, formerly Canada’s Web Shop, recently acquired space in the Inglis building at 291 Garry Street.

The full-service marketing company and its 19 employees will call the space home and help build upon the revitalization of the downtown area. The building had been sitting vacant to more than a decade, according to the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce.

Metric Marketing president and CEO John McDonald, councillor Justin Swandel, Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Dave Angus and president and CEO of CentreVenture Development Corporation Ross McGowan joined Metric Marketing staff for a ribbon cutting this afternoon.
