If the Redwood Bridge works into your driving plans this weekend, you’ll need to find an alternate route.
Beginning at 6 a.m. on Saturday, crews will shut down both the eastbound and westbound lanes for structural steel repairs, inspection and maintenance.
The south sidewalk will remain open during this period for pedestrian traffic. Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternate routes such as the Disraeli Bridges and Louise Bridge.
The bridge will reopen on Monday, October 29 at 6 a.m.
