Local media personalities put their pumpkin-carving skills on full display Monday at Kildonan Place Shopping Centre.
Carving for a Cause saw teams carve for their chosen charities, with each team walking away with $100 from the mall, regardless of whether their creations won a prize or not.
Until October 31, the public can vote for their favourite pumpkin on KP’s Facebook page. The pumpkin with the most votes by midnight on Halloween will see their team win a $500 donation.
The winners of the artistic merit prizes and an additional $100 donation were:
- Scariest Pumpkin — Eva Kovacs (Global Winnipeg)
- Cutest/Funniest Pumpkin — Kristin Hursh, Eleanor Coopsammy, Terri Apostle, and Rachel Lagace (CTV Morning Live)
- Most Creative — Jordan Knight (103.1 Virgin Radio) and Jonathan Best (QX104)
