October 31, 2012 12:15 PM | Sports

The Winnipeg Goldeyes will begin the 2013 American Association regular season on the road May 17 against the Grand Prairie AirHogs.

The baseball club released its full schedule on Wednesday, which has the Fish hosting 11 teams from May to September.

Winnipeg fans will get their first glimpse of the team on May 27 during the home opener at Shaw Park when the Laredo Lemurs visit the city for the first time. The season-opening homestand also includes a three-game series with the North Division rival Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

The Goldeyes will meet the Wichita Wingnuts for three games from June 10-13 — the team they defeated to win the 2012 American Association Championship.

The 2013 regular season will conclude with a seven-game homestand against the St. Paul Saints from August 27-30 and, for the third consecutive season, Fargo will visit the Goldeyes for three games from August 31-September 2 to complete the schedule.

The complete schedule can be viewed at Goldeyes.com (PDF).
