One of several transformers weighing approximately 386,000 lbs each sits at CG Power Systems Canada Inc. on Sunday, November 4, 2012 prior to being moved about 150 km at a pace of 5 km/h. Manitoba Hydro is moving the transformers to its Riel Station to make improvements on its 500,000-volt line linking Manitoba to Minnesota. The trip is expected to take three days.
