Ian Rabb (HANDOUT)
Winnipegger Ian Rabb has been named a Scotiabank National Game Changer Finalist.
Rabb, a local property manager and former political candidate, could win $100,000 for his organization, Two Ten Recovery Inc., during the 100th Grey Cup in Toronto.
Two Ten Recovery provides a sober environment for men and women in recovery from drug or alcohol addiction.
“This is a win-win situation as I am representing our Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Two Ten Recovery for a chance to help save lives,” Rabb said. “If we won, we will use the money to enhance the homes we are currently running and create an employment program so the people we help can become independent and self-reliant more quickly. Please vote often.”
The public can vote for their favourite finalist at ScotiabankGameChangers.com until November 30.
The winner will be chosen by an all-star jury panel comprised of Michael “Pinball” Clemons, CFL commissioner Mark Cohon, TSN president Stewart Johnston, and Scotiabank’s Anatol von Hahn.
