The soup is on at MTS Centre today as Winnipeg Harvest hosts its annual Empty Bowls Soup-er Lunch fundraiser.
Taking place at ice level of the arena, the lunch will include endless bowls of delicious assorted soups and bread provided by Centerplate. Proceeds from the afternoon go towards Winnipeg Harvest and their efforts to distribute food for those less fortunate in the city.
Attendees can also bid on decorated bowls crafted by celebrities and media personalities.
The lunch will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will be emceed by local broadcaster Caroline Hunter.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or at the door for $10.
