The Redwood Bridge will close on Saturday morning to both eastbound and westbound traffic.
The City of Winnipeg says the closure is to accommodate structural steel repairs, inspection and maintenance.
The bridge will close at 6 a.m. and reopen at 8 p.m.
The south sidewalk will remain open during this period for pedestrian traffic. Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternate routes such as the Disraeli Bridges and Louise Bridge.
