Thousands of people filled the streets Saturday for the 103rd Santa Claus Parade in downtown Winnipeg.
Organizers were expecting the annual event to attract about 60,000 people, which began at Portage Avenue and Young Street and ended near The Forks. Fireworks concluded the evening at about 7:30 p.m.
There were 100 floats this year, as Olympian and grand marshal Desiree Scott led the parade.
