A University of Winnipeg wrestler has been named the recipient of two prestigious scholarships.

The Wesmen’s Brock Munro first received the National RCMP Scholarship, which is given out to students who’s parents are active members of the RCMP.

The second scholarship Munro received was the Wicihitowin Foundation Justice Studies Scholarship. The award is made possible by the Regina Police Service and the F Division of the RCMP in Saskatchewan.

“It is my hope and expectation that his (Brock’s) commitment to excellence in all aspects of his life will provide a path for many in his community to follow for years to come”, said Wesmen rrestling head coach Adrian Bruce.
