Sherbrook Pool to Remain Closed Indefinitely

By Sarah Klein

Those who use the Sherbrook Pool will have to find another facility after the city closed it last Thursday.

The City of Winnipeg said late Monday afternoon that the pool will remain closed for an extended period of time to allow for a structural engineering assessment of the facility.

The majority of fall 2012 aquatic programs currently running at the Sherbrook Pool have been relocated to alternate facilities.

Winter 2013 programming at the Sherbrook Pool won’t be offered in the upcoming Leisure Guide registration. Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex and Eldon Ross Pool will have enhanced program offerings for the winter 2013 Session.
