The Winnipeg Goldeyes have locked down infielder Amos Ramon for the 2013 season.

Manager Rick Forney announced the first signing of the season on Monday. The American Association Playoff MVP hit .281 with four home runs and 35 RBI in 71 games with the Goldeyes last season despite missing a month of the season with a separated shoulder.

In the playoffs, Ramon hit a team-leading .476 with two home runs and nine RBI. His home runs provided the game-winning runs in Game 1 of the Divisional Series against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks and Game 2 of the Championship Series against the Wichita Wingnuts.
