A group of about 70 people dressed in Santa Claus suits raised funds for the Christmas Cheer Board on Saturday.
The annual Winnipeg SantaCon pub crawl began at Shannon’s Irish Pub and ended at the Woodbine Hotel. The Santas boarded buses, which made rounds to local watering holes.
Donations were collected for the Cheer Board, which is working to distribute hampers to families in need as Christmas approaches. Volunteers gathered at the Ellice Avenue warehouse earlier in the day to help deliver hampers, including members of the Canadian military.
SantaCon ended up raising nearly $400.
