Canada Post delivered a record one million parcels in a single day last Thursday.
The postal service’s busiest day on December 13 was an increase of 11% compared to last year.
Canada Post expects to deliver another 4.4 million parcels to 15.1 million addresses across the country by the evening of December 24.
An estimated $8 billion worth of physical goods is ordered online in Canada each year for residential deliveries, a figure forecasted to grow to more than $15 billion by 2016.
