Sharp-eyed staff working at a Brandon fast food restaurant turned in an impaired driver to police on Christmas Eve.
Police say a 27-year-old Brandon man attended a restaurant in the 2600 block of Victoria Avenue at about 12:30 p.m. on December 24 and placed an order through the drive-thru. Staff noticed the man was inebriated and called police, who stopped the suspect in the parking lot before he could leave.
The man registered twice the legal limit after providing a breath sample.
He will appear in court on January 7, 2013 on a charge of impaired driving.
