Manitoba RCMP are investigating the discovery of a body on God’s Lake Narrows First Nation.
Police were called to an outdoor location on the reserve on Sunday.
The deceased has yet to be positively identified and an autopsy has been ordered.
The investigation into the death is continuing.
UPDATE: Friday, January 11 — RCMP are now treating the death as a homicide after an autopsy. The deceased has been identified as 15-year-old Leah Anderson of God’s Lake Narrows First Nation. Police continue to investigate.
