The YMCA-YWCA will formally put the call out for Women of Distinction nominations this week.
On Wednesday, officials will hold a news conference with past award recipient Lisa Meeches at the University of Winnipeg.
The YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction Awards Program is a celebration of talent, achievement, imagination and innovation, honouring Manitoba women who have made a unique and exemplary contribution to the development of others in our community.
The early bird nomination deadline is February 14, 2013. Nomination forms can be downloaded from YWinnipeg.ca.
