Business students from across the world will be in Winnipeg this week as part of the Manitoba International Marketing Competition and Conference (MIMC).
Thirteen teams will compete in Canada’s only international marketing competition at the University of Manitoba between January 9-12.
The stakes are high, with $6,000 in cash prizes up for grabs. Before claiming global champion, teams must go through eight-weekly decisions in an online simulation and provide a strategy statement. Each team will then present its strategies in front of an esteemed panel of judges from the corporate and academic communities.
