Lindenwoods Grow-Op Nets $1.5M in Marijuana

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police have charged two people in connection with a marijuana grow-op in Lindenwoods.

Police raided a home in the 100 block of Lindenwood Drive East on Thursday. Officers located 1,296 marijuana plants with an estimated street value $1,451,520. Also seized was half a pound of dry marijuana valued at $1,500, and grow operation equipment worth $30,000.

A 50-year-old man and 49-year-old woman face numerous charges. Both were released on a promise to appear.
