The Winnipeg Police Service 9th Annual Half Marathon is slated for Sunday, May 5.
The marathon, hosted by the WPS, Winnipeg Iron-Cops and the Running Room, is a fundraiser for the Cops for Cancer program.
A two-wave start will be part of this year’s event, with the first wave beginning at 8 a.m., followed by the other at 8:30 a.m.
The event starts and finishes inside Assiniboine Park near the foot bridge.
