The man infamously known as “Mr. Jetz TV” is back in police custody after allegedly making child pornography.
Darrell Ackman, 43, was arrested by Winnipeg police in July 2012 after a long-term investigation targeting exploited at-risk youth. He was re-arrested on January 15.
Police seized a number of electronic devices from Ackman’s possession last summer, which needed to be examined for further evidence.
Ackman has been charged with two counts of making, printing and publishing child pornography, two counts of possessing child pornography, and three counts of living off the avails of prostitution. He remains in custody.
Last fall, Ackman unsuccessfully ran in the Fort Whyte byelection as an independent candidate.
