One person is dead following a fire in a two-storey East Kildonan home.
The blaze started at about 12:30 p.m. Friday in the first 100 block of Merrill Crescent.
Winnipeg police say the body of a man was inside the home and his identity hasn’t yet been confirmed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimate is available.
The arson unit continues to investigate.
