The Manitoba government is increasing funding to schools in the province by $27.2 million.
Education Minister Nancy Allan said the 2.3 percent increase in the coming year will give students better supports and more of the attention they need.
“These new supports will ensure our schools have the same or increased levels of funding to keep building on programs that are producing results. Together we’re improving quality and helping students develop in math, reading and writing,” Allan said.
