Charleswood-Tuxedo city councillor Paula Havixbeck (CHRISD.CA FILE)
Mayor Sam Katz has shuffled his cabinet, dropping Charleswood-Tuxedo Councillor Paula Havixbeck from the executive policy committee.
Havixbeck, a tough critic of Katz, has been replaced by St. Vital Councillor Brian Mayes.
Mayes will chair the mayor’s environmental advisory committee and is the councillor responsible for Assiniboine Park Governance.
Havixbeck recently opposed passing the city’s 2013 budget, which raised property taxes and increased the ward budgets for city councillors.
