Winnipeg Blue Bomber players will be back in the classroom in February as part of “I Love to Read Month.”
A number of local schools will see visits, including Kent Road School, Westview School, Phoenix School, R.F. Morrison School, Ecole Julie-Riel School, Polson School, St. Alphonsus School, Ecole Varennes School, Athlone School, St. John Brebeuf School, Parc La Salle, Margaret Park School, and Lockport School.
Players taking part this year are Chris Cvetkovic, Chris Greaves, Glenn January, Chris Kowalczuk, Pierre-Luc Labbé, Steve Morley and Kito Poblah.
The month-long initiative promotes literacy and aims on making reading fun for children.
