The University of Manitoba Bisons football team has signed quarterback Jordan Yantz.
The former Vancouver Island Raiders QB will suit up with the Herd for the upcoming 2013 season and is the CJFL all-time recorder holder in passing yards, touchdowns and yards in a season.
“In signing Jordan Yantz, we believe we have absolutely secured the single best quarterback available in this nation,” Bisons head coach Brian Dobie said. “Jordan is a proven winner, tremendous competitor, national champion and CJFL record setter.”
The 22-year-old will enter Manitoba with two years left of eligibility to play at the CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport) level.
