Food Matters ManitobaLocal students will put their culinary skills to test in a cook-off competition today.

The third annual Localvore Iron Chef Cook-Off is being put on by Food Matters Manitoba at Winnipeg Technical College’s Henlow Campus.

The cook-off is a way to create dishes that celebrate year-round local food, while bringing together youth, farmers and chefs from across the province.

Dishes will be judged on their taste and presentation at the end of the day.
