The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have donated $127,500 to Football Manitoba through its 50/50 program from the 2012 season.
Funds collected in the annual program go to support the amateur football organization, which has been on the receiving end of more than $1.2 million in proceeds from the CFL team since 2002.
Ron East, executive director of Football Manitoba, says the initiative is able to provide financial support to their member organizations and ensure the viability of football in the province.
