Before football fans pack the new Investors Group Field stadium, worshipers will get to test out the digs first.
A large, city-wide church service hosted by One Heart Winnipeg will fill the stadium on Sunday, May 26.
“We’re happy to work with One Heart Winnipeg on this test event as they will use everything from our parking stalls, concessions and production equipment,” said Blue Bomber president and CEO Garth Buchko. “This will be the first big event at the stadium before the concert in June and the start of the CFL season.”
The service will begin at 1 p.m. and include music, prayer, and a sermon. Pre-service family activities begin at noon.
