The Collegiate at the University of Winnipeg is swinging open its doors tonight for an open house.
Potential students, their parents and the general public are invited to the downtown campus from 5 to 8 p.m.
The annual open house, held in Wesley Hall at 515 Portage Avenue, will provide information on high school in a university setting. Students in Grades 9 to 12 can take accelerated classes that enable them to simultaneously achieve high school and university credits.
Up to 80 new entrance scholarships will be offered in 2013-14 valued at $500 to $1,000. The top 20 new students in each grade level will qualify based on academic performance and stated criteria.
Admission to the open house is free.
