WSO Maestro Conducting U of M Symphony Orchestra

WSO resident conductor Maestro Richard Lee will conduct the University of Manitoba Symphony Orchestra in a concert tonight.

Lee will present Austrian composer Anton Bruckner’s most popular work, Symphony No. 4, in E-flat major.

The concert will also feature the world premiere of “The Pillars of Creation,” a new work written by student composer Michael Ducharme.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. at Westworth United Church, 1750 Grosvenor Avenue. Admission is $15 at the door or $5 for students.
