Football fans will be salivating at the menu choices at the new Winnipeg Blue Bombers stadium.
The football club on Tuesday shared a preview of what fans can expect when Investors Group Field opens for the 2013 CFL season. Besides the technical specs to ensure a great game day experience while in the stands, the Bombers offered up a preview of what food items will be available.
Through its partnership with Ovations Food Services, the Bombers will sell the usual stadium fare, such as mini donuts, hot dogs, French fries, etc., but also many other treats.
A half-pound Blue and Gold burger will be on the menu, along with bison and chicken burgers, grilled chicken breasts, speciality sausage such as bratwurst, smokies, all beef and vegan hot dogs, perogies and kalbassa, shawarma, and Mexican offerings.
Healthy options will be available as well, including fresh salads, sandwiches, veggie cups, and sushi with vegan and gluten free options.
Local favourites Salisbury House and Pizza Hotline will also have a presence in the stadium.
The Bombers also said the stadium will include complete Wi-Fi access in the suites and restaurant, as well as boosted cell phone coverage.
