The Winnipeg Comedy Festival is serving up the funny “perfectly baked” this year. That’s the theme of the 12th annual laugh fest, which unveiled its lineup on Tuesday.
Running April 8-14, the Comedy Festival will feature Jonathan Torrens, Steve Patterson, Sean Cullen, Debra DiGiovanni and a slew of others.
“The festival is a great new dish each year, but I would be damned if you asked for the recipe,” said artistic director Al Rae. “I know I have the best sous-chefs in the world, all great cooks in their own right.”
“We are growing and changing, but in weird and quirky ways. Not sure what’s next — but to get back to the slogan “Comedy that’s Perfectly Baked,” I’m pretty high on it all.”
Early bird ticket pricing is in effect until March 4.
