Freeze Frame Kid’s Festival Almost Here

Freeze FrameAn all-ages film festival is quickly approaching, showcasing local talent and artists from around the world.

The 17th annual Freeze Frame International Film Festival for Kids of all Ages runs March 3-10 at Cinematheque and the Franco-Manitoban Cultural Centre.

This year’s festival includes Charles and André Clément, and local docs by Erika MacPherson, Mike Maryniuk, Anita Lebeau, and Scott Collins.

The festival will feature two new episodes of the environmentally conscious “Planet Echo” series and a documentary titled “May We Grow,” about the threat of Dutch elm disease in Winnipeg.

Tickets are $5 per film or $4 with a family. A festival pass is $20 for individuals or $35 for unlimited family screenings. Tickets can be purchased by calling Freeze Frame at (204) 949-9355 or e-mailing info@freezeframeonline.org.
