Two-time national bluegrass banjo champion Tony Furtado will show Manitoba musicians a thing or two this summer.

Furtado will be instructing at the 2013 Folk Music Camp put on by the Winnipeg Folk Festival. A finger-picking virtuoso on both the guitar and banjo, Furtado demonstrates on stage and in his popular YouTube video lessons.

Musicians will learn from Furtado on Saturday, July 6 at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Winnipeg, 603 Wellington Crescent.

The Folk Festival will also welcome Furtado for the first time this year as a performer, which runs July 10-14.
