A new morning radio show will debut in Winnipeg on Wednesday.
Matt Sutton moves to 99.1 Fresh FM all the way from Brisbane, Australia. The radio host previously worked at B105 as a morning announcer and operations manager for the past three years. No stranger to Canada, Sutton has also worked in London, Ontario.
It’s the first morning show for the Corus Entertainment station, which specializes in a Hot AC format.
Sutton arrives as stations prepare for the spring ratings period beginning March 4. In the fall book, Fresh FM earned a 2.5 share in the 12+ demographic.
