The City of Winnipeg will give the public a glimpse at its preliminary design of the Plessis Road Underpass project on Thursday.
From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the public can attend the Canad Inns Transcona (826 Regent Avenue West) to see the design of the $77 million project and ask questions. The underpass of the CN rail line will be located north of the Plessis Road and Dugald Road intersection.
Also included in the project are land drainage system improvements, roadway improvements, active transportation facilities, and the relocation of utilities and oil pipelines.
Construction will begin in the spring and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2014.
