The speechwriter for former U.S. president George W. Bush will address students at the University of Winnipeg this week.
David Frum is a political analyst, journalist and Canadian-American author. His lecture on the topic of “The US Political System: How Broken Is It?” will be held Wednesday, March 6 in Convocation Hall, 515 Portage Avenue.
“I want to sketch out and explain the reasons for optimism in the political system,” Frum recently told the U of W’s student newspaper. “I want to explain how it’s relevant, and importantly, suggest how it could be better.”
The lecture will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is open to all. Admission is free.
