Veteran outfielder Fehlandt Lentini is returning to the Winnipeg Goldeyes for the 2013 season.
The 35-year-old was announced as a re-signing on Monday by manager Rick Forney.
“Fehlandt has always loved playing in Winnipeg and always left the door open to returning if there was an opportunity. That opportunity presented itself this year with Chris Roberson going to Mexico,” Forney said.
Lentini suited up for the Fish from 2006-2008, and again in 2011. Last season, he played for the Lancaster Barnstormers of the Atlantic League, finishing fifth in the league with a .319 batting average and his 92 RBI were second in the loop.
